Coffee really and wondrously has something amorous about it....... I fail to pin it down to one thing. But, I would have to say that asking a person (usually of the opposite sex) to come over for coffee, especially late at night, makes one search for the obvious double meaning.
Sorry to have come across this very post late, a little late.......
actually coffee and love taste best when they are hot,
simpering-simmering-hot!;)
