Destroyed in Love

It is believed that Love heals,
Love conquers all,
Love replenishes,
Love makes one whole,
Love works wonders to help one be a better person............
But is it not also true that Love destroys?
Being Destroyed in Love is, however, not the eventuality that should deter men and women from falling in Love.

Hmmmmmmmmmm. Didn't know you are that lovestruck! It is often said that lightning only strikes a particular spot once, but it isn't really true.... same with LOVE my friend, I can see that you have been unlucky in love, to put it mildly; but remember - the destruction needn't be complete. Maybe there is someone, somewhere waiting for you; maybe you shall be able to heal one another.

Buddy let me confess first I've never been to a relationship. But I am sure, thanks to my knowledge of experience of friends, that true love is rare.

What little I understand of true love is that it encourages one to give up and not occupy by hook or crook, to do only what would make the loved one happy even at the cost of personal loss and live for the loved one.

But all this is not common.

Hence my advice is start living for yourself, the only sustained way of a happy and healthy life. If you get a new partner, or about your current one, start thinking that she should merit you, and not the reverse. And....you are... well........priceless.

Hi! U are going through the Devdas syndrome or what? Maybe it is a temporary phase, but this is all I have to say to u: Unrequited love or Love that does not reward in itself need not be seen as a dreadful, disastrous end, there is life beyond...... Have faith in yourself, you need not despair for lost opportunities, or lost love. Live in Today, not yesterday.
I would like to quote Richard M D Evos in saying, THE ONLY THING THAT STANDS BETWEN A MAN AND WHAT HE WANTS FROM LIFE IS OFTEN MERELY THE WILL TO TRY IT, AND THE FAITH TO BELIEVE THAT IT IS POSSIBLE.

My dear Anindo, you are not the only one who has loved and lost. Remember, there is always a silver lining around the darkest of clouds. Have faith. Love, in its truest & purest form, always gives; it always heals and it always replenishes.

Everyone says love hurts, but that is not true, rejection hurts, loneliness hurts, losing someone hurts, envy hurts; everyone confuses these things with love; love actually covers up, and heals all the pain, and makes us feel wonderful again!
