Here are the others!

Some people have asked me why I've selected only my top ten favorite films for the year, and why not the others, especially the regional films, and that's the reason I am mentioning the names of some of the other films that I have been much impressed by, for a variety of reasons, and in varying degrees (these include the Indian films too, Mehul!). Hope my readers would delight me with their comments.

India may or may not be shining, but Indian films are shining for sure.

Impressed by this extended listing. Impressed that I have seen most of these films. And impressed to see a marked improvement in the quality of films made in India in recent times.

The year 2012 was especially good as far as the Hindi movies are concerned. We had such a wide variety of interesting and out-of-the-box films that received much love and admiration from a wide range of viewers, which surely is a healthy sign for filmmaking as such.
I hope the impetus is kept up this year and in the years ahead.
