yippeee!
I am glad to note that I have seen all of the films that appear on your Top Ten, though many of them I have seen prior to 2011.
My vote would have gone to 'Blue Valentine' for being the top film, but I can understand why you would give more brownie points to a movie like 'A Serious Man'. 'The Savages' and 'A Serious Man' are both quirky films and are likely to have a limited appeal otherwise.

Lovely selection. I would have included 'Ichchhe', 'Mission Impossible 4', '127 Hours', 'Delhi Belly' and 'Friends with Benefits' in my selection though - it's a wide variety of films that I liked this year..... hahaha.

Will definitely try to catch 'The Savages' and 'Kick-Ass' on video. Have seen and loved all the others from the list. 'A Serious Man' is particularly interesting. Keep me posted on the recent viewings this year, dude.

Yo, bro! I'd have a lot of catching up to do, it seems......

The first seven from your Top Ten are my absolute favorites as well.......
I have not seen the Bengali films, and - honestly - did not like 'That Girl in Yellow Boots', I found it a bit pretentious.

Fascinating, buddy:)

All are my favorites..... but I also enjoyed most of the summer blockbusters of the year which you seemed to have skipped or not liked as much!

Truly interesting.

Good to see as many as four Indian films in the list. Is it because you saw less of World Cinema, or because these were honorable mentions?

Nice, but, missing dearly- Delhi Belly, Ranjana Aami Aar Aasbo Na, Ichchhe, Iti Mrinalini, 127 Hours, and Rio among others.

I am glad that I have seen nine out of the ten favored movies of yours, from the ones seen last year, and my vote for the best film - from amongst them - would go to 'Black Swan'. It moved me to tears and even gave me an unexplainable boost.

A very interesting Top Ten.
Ryan Gosling and Natalie Portman being my hot favorites, I'm thrilled to see their films getting prominence.

Nice.
I have seen all of the top ten movies of yours this time.
All I liked, only I did not like 'Gandu (Loser)' as I thought it was unnecessarily and exceedingly provocative.
