It's the time to DHOOM!

"Dhoom machale dhoom machale dhoom.....!"
The lovers of the 'Dhoom' franchise have been going crazy ever since the project was announced, and the fans of Aamir Khan were too thrilled to know that the ace perfectionist had finally given his nod for the role of the anti-hero, it being obvious to all that a lot of convincing by the makers was called for.
Well, the film is finally here, the year is about to end and the makers have been screaming loud and clear that Dhoom 3 will be the movie that the loyal followers of the cult desi action series had been eagerly waiting for all this while, with its usual dose of masala, and more.

Full marks to the makers for keeping the franchise alive, and full marks to Aamir Khan for making the impossible possible, yet again!

The fans of the Dhoom films won't be dissatisfied with this very installment.
Further, Aamir Khan has never looked so screen-savvy as he does in his (am sure most have come to know by now, so no spoiler alert here) double role, and he contributes handsomely to make the action scenes look convincing and credible.

Personally, I have never had high expectations from a franchise like 'Dhoom'. What has obviously upped the stakes this time, and what matters most to me, is the sheer presence of Aamir Khan, and, therefore, I want the film to do well, very well. May it get people's love (the film is indeed a labour of love and hence it deserves the adulation of the fans) and may it score big (even if it requires some magic, after all, Aamir has done things that can be termed nothing less than magical!).

I loved the film. My spontaneous reaction was that of amazement, and unbridled childish pleasure. We all know how important it is for every new installment in a franchise to set itself apart from its predecessor without straying too far from the original material with its distinctive elements that had wowed the viewers for the first time.
Well, the success of 'Dhoom 3' lies in the fact that it succeeds in doing just that, and Aamir Khan has aided in making it possible and how! 'Dhoom 3' will win hearts for sure.

Aamir Khan has proved once again that he is the Ace Khan of Bollywood as he alone can rise above the material of the film. The film may not be the very best of the entertainers that have come out of the Bollywood stable, and we have had many decent ones in that category in recent times, but the star-actor has excelled handsomely, in his endearing portrayal of the one who stays beautifully innocent and angel-like despite being the grown up version of 'the-boy-in-the-box' - his dad's nanha farishta.

The movie is a full-blast entertainer..... in fact, it is the best seen this year by me, I had nothing to complain about. Aamir is top notch, but even the others in the cast wear their character's shoes perfectly (and they did not have untied laces, chuckle-chuckle).

Surprise, surprise!!!! DHOOM 3 is high on emotional content and a little low on the adrenaline rush, and still it's as interesting a film in the franchise as ever!

Loved it. For the sheer magic of cinema. For the unabashed entertainment that entertains every which way. And for Aamir Khan doing what he has never done before and maybe he never again will.

DHOOM mach gayi dhoom!!!!! Electrifying stunts, quirky twist in the tale (right in the middle), and a blend of action and emotion makes the third film in the series my favorite! Dhoom 2 comes a close second though.

Aamir Khan has once again proved that he is as much a sensible actor as he is a bankable star. 'Dhoom 3' has all the gloss and slickness expected from a movie that belongs to the by-now-famous franchise, plus it has the x-factor of Aamir's charisma and emotional quotient thrown in. The fans couldn't have asked for more.
My rating: 6.75/10
