Aamir Khan is indeed the very best. He keeps setting newer benchmarks with each of his projects. His television project isn't going to be an exception to this. It is based on an apparently unheard of idea, a virgin concept...... and I am sure it'll revolutionize Indian television.
As far as 'Talaash' is concerned, we might have to wait till November, but I am sure it'll be worth the wait.
Happy 47th, Aamir!

An ode to Aamir:

Because of you, my idol,
my life is enriched in myriad ways.
Like a cool breeze on a sweltering day,
like a ray of sunshine parting dark & heavy clouds,
you lift me up.
In good times, you make soar,
like a weightless balloon
over a neon rainbow.
In bad times, you are a soothing balm
for my battered soul.
I learn so much from you;
you help me see old things in new ways.
I wonder if you are aware
of the bright seeds you are sowing in me.
I'm a better person for knowing you,
so that everyone I interact with
is touched by your good effect on me.
You do not only entertain,
you relax me, refresh me, renew me.
Your bounteous heart envelops me
in joy and love and peace.
May your life be filled
with dazzling blessings,
just as I am blessed
remaining a loyal fan!

I am so happy to see Aamir Khan evolve from an actor and a star to a dynamic game-changer in the staid and formulaic domain of entertainment, he has chosen to make a difference; he makes his presence felt by his original ideas howsoever radical and out-of-the-box.
I wish for happiness always for Aamir Khan!

TALAASH seems to be a really interesting film that blends mystery and suspense and what better deal can it have than having been helmed by an ace star-cast....... I only wish the film released soon! We are being kept waiting on tenterhooks!

The presence of Kareena Kapoor, Rani Mukherjee and Aamir Khan in 'Talaash' is reason enough to have me excited about the film. Dying to see it, actually! I wish Team Talaash the very best!:)

Aamir looks good with both Kareena and Rani. Plus, I dig his muchchhi (moustache) as well.

Just listened to the soundtrack of Aamir's upcoming film Talaash, and saying 'I am impressed' would be an understatement. It is a rocking soundtrack album! Ram Sampath has again come with some fantastic creations. My best wishes to the entire team of Talaash and to Aamir, of course!

My take on 'Talaash':

The film may not have lived up to the expectations of many of the viewers, but I must say that I liked it immensely for a number of reasons. First, the performances by the lead players and even the character-artistes were rock solid. And what made them stand out in particular was the screenplay, which gave ample scope for each of them to find establish themselves and eke out a validating contribution from each other.
The setting and the establishing of the mood, primarily, was awesome. I was hooked, hard not to remain glued to the screen as the mystery unfolded.
The music of 'Talaash' was a robust background score with some moody reflections as songs that accompanied pivotal moments and sentiments on screen.
The twist in the climax was not a major denouement for me nor was it too surprising as I had a hunch for it from the first half itself. Some jarring moments were there - viz. the bit about the planchette and the paranormal - but those could not dampen the overall positive response that the film generated from myself as well as my fellow viewers at the auditorium.
