Finally..... Blogger's back!
It was excruciating for millions of bloggers and blogophiles that Blogger was kept out of access by the site administrators citing maintenance reasons, and hence there could not be any new posts.
Blogging is no longer just a pastime, for hordes of people it is s surefire sign of survival itself.
Old blog-posts could be read of course, but it feels really bothersome when one is prevented from airing one's feelings, views, opinions or insights and sharing them with others here in blogosphere. The delay in fixing their problems was unexpected, and uncalled for. Hence this post is just a celebratory post for the restoration of services on Blogger [blogger.com], their efforts to restore the posts are still on, and normalcy has been promised by the weekend.
http://www.sakagaze.blogspot.com is the blog address for some of the cool and not so cool observations by Anindo Sen, a passionate Kolkatan. Kolkata is likely to feature prominently on this blog, just as it is likely to feature the personal preferences - as far as films, books or music or other finer aspects of life are concerned.

Yesterday, I too had a frustrating experience, trying to blog
in vain. Tweeted on it too.
The maintenance work for the site was scheduled for Wednesday, however, supposedly there was some data corruption that had impacted Blogger's behaviour. Since then, bloggers and readers are said to have experienced a variety of anomalies including intermittent outages, disappearing posts, and arriving at unintended blogs or error pages. The Blogger users who have managed to post after Wednesday have had to deal with deleted posts, which are being gradually restored by the weekend.
Though a promise has been made by the administrators that such painful disruptions won't happen again, one must also appreciate that any technology, no matter how marvellous and indispensable it is, comes with snags and glitches which aren't completely avoidable, but surely they can be minimised.
