Just as the songs and the trailers of the movie "3 Idiots" have been doing the rounds on the television channels, I cannot help going ga-ga over the visuals from the movie, and hence this special post. "3 Idiots" is loosely based on my favorite Chetan Bhagat novel called 'Five Point Someone'. The film is directed by Rajkumar Hirani, and is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. It has Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Boman Irani and Kareena Kapoor in the key roles. Abhijat Joshi & Rajkumar Hirani have written the screenplay. Though Chetan Bhagat was not involved with the scripting, he has given his stamp of approval after having seen the final draft of the screenplay. The music has been composed by Shantanu Moitra & the lyrics have been penned by Swanand Kirkire. The film is slated for Christmas release, that is on December 25, 2009. It is giving me goosebumps that the most eagerly awaited film of the year is all set to hit the theaters just as the year would be on its way out.

Uff yoommaaaaaa!
Can't wait to catch the flick!!!;-)
I am eagerly waiting for the release...hope it turns out to be as good as the book..
'3 Idiots' is undoubtedly the most awaited film of the year. Like many of the Aamir Khan starrers it is also going to release at the fag end of the year (remember, 'Taare Zameen Par' & 'Ghajini'), and by the promos, it is going to be a fantastic treat for the viewers who love to be taken on a comical ride, big time!
Who else could have made Rancho such a riot but Mister Aamir Khan, the fact that he is forty-plus notwithstanding! He can go to any lengths to make a character believable to the core.... this time he apparently crash dieted on milk & bananas to be so youthful and wacky!
I am sure he will receive a lot of flak for the dare, but I am hoping that ultimately it is his mad method-less (!) acting that will see him sailing through smoothly.... for the sake of the film (am really hoping that it turns out well) and for all us Aamir-holics!;-)
The buzz on this film is getting bigger, and BIGGER each day as the release date is approaching.
A movie that stars Aamir Khan is anyways big because of his stature in Bollywood, and also because of the fact that he has been choosing movies with a lot of care & deliberation for the past few years.
The latest buzz that is doing the rounds is that '3 Idiots' is also having Kajol in a guest appearance. There's Mona Singh too, who is a personal favorite of mine. Will surely write more in this section, after I get to see the film! Watch out...... !!!
Nothing wanna say much ....
One of my most awaited one life (core from the Engineering hostel life and their ups and downs) Though I never lived in hotels n all .. Bt yet its something which stirred me watsoever ...
and the stars .. the main attraction of the movie I guess. Lets c how it works ....Looking forward for a nice movie and that is cuz of Aamir flick.... ;)
Although the basic interest in the movie has stemmed from it being an adaptation of the debut bestseller by Chetan Bhagat, Five Point Someone, apparently the film '3 Idiots' is completely different from the book! Sources close to the movie have let out that the book only had served as an inspiration to the original plot, and Raj Kumar Hirani has given the entire movie a new touch. The campus and the classroom setting are the only thing common between the movie and the book.
The plot of the movie has two friends embarking on a request for a lost buddy. On this journey they encounter a long forgotten bet, a wedding they must crash and a funeral that goes impossibly out of control!
After watching the first promo of the much-awaited film of the year, I have to say that it is appealing to the eyes and is 100 percent unadulterated fun. In short, it promises a cocktail of romance, fun and drama.
There are few scenes in the promo that stay in the mind, viz. Aamir Khan dancing in the rain with Kareena Kapoor & mouthing wacky dialogues in another scene.
'3 Idiots' promises to be much more than a campus comedy; it will not run short of romance either.
Lead actors of the film Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan and Sharman Joshi get along like a house on fire in the first clip.
The promo ends with the statement – Admissions open December 25.
We can't wait for Christmas to come!!!!
just stoppin' by...i don't know much about this post's topic but I just wanted to say how I appreciate your perspective/outlook about yourself.
=^.^=
3 Idiots should be one of the best films from Bollywood this year. I can't wait to catch it in theaters when it releases......!!!!!
Nice pics. Must be a nice movie too. Kareena & Aamir would be a hot pair. The pics say so!
