For a die-hard movie buff like me, the temptation of movie viewing is too hard to resist. Early this year, I had resolved that I will limit my movie viewing this year to an all-time personal record, but it seems that the movies are luring me ever more. Like a true addict I am succumbing to the pleasure of movies.
It is not even the middle of the year, and I have given in to the charms of some fine (and not so fine) films in English, Hindi and Bangla. Here is a list of some noteworthy films that I have seen already - within the first three months and a little more - hope my readers pour in with their comments on them (if not, I will oblige myself!):

Wow! Some collection......... I am sure u have seen more than the ones listed here; maybe they didn't make the mark!
I wish you leave some insightful comments too on the select films that had some appeal for you. I hope you do that soon, maybe at the end of the year - making up the final list of the year's best viewings..... This is just the prologue then?
Hi! A blog post after quite sometime. So, u were busy watching movies, huh?
I haven't been lucky enough to see many of the good films u have listed. But I have seen Scorsese's The Departed, and I liked it a lot. Leo was great in it, and so was Jack Nickolson, Matt Damon and Martin Sheen. And the other noteworthy films that I have seen and share your appreciation with are: Babel, Blood Diamond, The Queen, and The Last King of Scotland. All of them were released in the US in 2006, weren't they? But we got the chance to see them this year.
Thanks for your overwhelming response to my blog folks!
I am glad that my blog has so many ardent visitors. Do encourage me with your comments and motivate me to contribute positively.
I am hungry for more!!!!!!!!!!!!!
